We will, power supply permitting, be broadcasting live from within Tropical Storm (no longer Hurricane) Hilary, right here in L.A. Right now it is raining and there are some wind gusts; hopefully we will be all right thru showtime this evening, although anything can happen.
We are looking forward to debate week, up in Milwaukee. I will be there on the ground, and in the spin room, throwing elbows as usual.
Some of my questions will be directed toward Republicans like Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who seem to think it's a great idea that some states could use (abuse) the 14th Amendment to push Trump off the ballot.
Meanwhile, in real news... the New York Times revealed that Hunter Biden was going to get off scot-free until whistleblowers came forward to complain about the way his case was being (mis)handled.
We'll talk about the 2nd anniversary of the Kabul, Afghanistan, airport bombing, which took place on August 26, 2021. We'll interview the "canceled" author, Scott Adams, about his new "reframing" book.
And... we'll interview one of the 19 defendants in the Georgia case against Trump, the one claiming he participated in "racketeering" to overturn the 2020 presidential election. A great show indeed...
With special guests:
Scott Adams - Dilbert creator and author of "Reframe Your Brain"
Jenna Ellis - former Trump lawyer, co-defendant in Georgia
Frances Martel - Breitbart News national security editor

This week's show will be slightly different from the norm: we'll focus on clips and topics, rather than guests -- and that, hopefully, will mean more input from the callers (unless you are all watching football on opening weekend).

This week's Torah portion includes several laws about conduct in civic and personal life, the common theme of which is boundaries -- setting bounds to what one may do at home, at work, and even in the battlefield.
One noteworthy passage concerns Amalek, the evil nation that attacked the Children of Israel as they made their Exodus from slavery to freedom. Deuteronomy 25:17-19 commands Jews to obliterate Amalek's memory.
The South African government accused Israel of genocide on the basis of a story about Amalek in the Book of Samuel, in which King Saul was commanded to wipe out the entire evil Amalekite nation.
Because Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quoted this week's portion -- "Remember what Amalek did to you" (25:17), the South African government claimed he was commanding soldiers to commit genocide.
It was an absurd and malevolent misreading of the Bible and of Jewish tradition. The commandment, as observed by Jews today, is to remember the evil of Amalek and fight ...
